“Fragments of the Pacific” Exhibition
Megaptera is the result of an absolutely unique encounter with a humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) in the heart of French Polynesia. Before we were even underwater, she was already waiting for us beneath the vessel, with her “arms” open. Nothing compares to the intensity and emotion we feel when we meet the gaze of a humpback whale. The vastness and grace of this majestic animal are are captured in this image, which I am offering as a limited edition.
